Primary Areas of Practice

Supporting children, tweens, and teens through the complex ups and downs of growing up. I work with young people navigating emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, social stressors, neurodiversity, and behaviours that challenge. Therapy for children is interactive, engaging, and fun where possible—drawing on play, creative expression, and nervous system regulation to help them process big feelings, build self-understanding, and feel confident in who they are.
A note for Parents & Carers…
Before founding Grevillea Grove Psychology, my clinical background involved working in intensive therapeutic support environments with children who have highly complex backgrounds and challenges. I understand that when children experience distress, it often shows up in ways that are incredibly hard for the adults around them to manage.
This experience fundamentally shaped my approach. It taught me to look past the surface of behaviours that challenge to understand the 'why'—the pain or unmet needs driving them. Equally, it deepened my understanding of just how exhausting, isolating, and overwhelming parenting and caregiving can be when things get tough.
Please know that there is very little I haven't seen, and nothing you could bring into the room that we cannot hold space for together. I bring that clinical resilience, warmth, and non-judgmental understanding into my practice so you never have to navigate these challenges alone. My goal is to offer a calm, grounded space where we can uncover those root causes together, helping you feel steady, supported, and confident as you support and guide your child.

Navigating the transition into parenthood and raising children can feel both deeply rewarding and exceptionally overwhelming—for mothers and fathers alike. As a mum who experienced firsthand how challenging that initial transition can be, I deeply understand how becoming a parent reshapes your identity, relationships, and emotional world.
I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space for expectant and new parents—including both mums and dads navigating their adjustment, stress, or bonding challenges. Drawing on attachment-based frameworks, we work together to help you navigate big changes, reconnect with who you are, cultivate reflective parenting practices, and build strong, nurturing relationships with your children through every stage of development.

Caregiving, and the work of frontline human services, demands immense emotional energy. I offer specialized support for foster and kinship carers, social workers, case managers, and health professionals experiencing burnout, vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue, or blocked care.
I also provide dedicated therapeutic support for the biological children of foster carers, helping them navigate the unique relational shifts, emotional complexity, and shared family dynamics of living in a caregiving household.
With over a decade of experience within the child protection and out-of-home care sectors, I provide a space grounded in a realistic, compassionate understanding of the systemic demands, high-stakes decisions, and relational weight of this work.

For adults seeking support with anxiety, depression, complex stress, trauma histories, or life transitions. Our sessions focus on understanding the underlying patterns, core beliefs, attachment dynamics, and nervous system responses that shape how you relate to yourself and others. Whether you are feeling stuck in long-standing cycles or navigating a sudden shift, we work together to process past experiences, build emotional resilience, and cultivate a stronger sense of connection and wellbeing.
Life can feel heavy at times, but you don’t have to sort through it alone. Our practice offers a safe, welcoming space where you can share openly, explore new perspectives, and find a way forward.
Our approach is a blend of evidence-based techniques and genuine human warmth. Together, we’ll set clear goals, celebrate small wins, and create practical tools you can carry into everyday life.
